Can’t Access CounterPoint - Support Solutions

1      Can’t Access Top-Level Directory

This error can happen when you try to open CounterPoint and cannot access the top level directory that makes CounterPoint run.

To fix this issue:

Make sure that you are able to connect to the correct directory.

If you cannot, it is a permission share issue.

Go to C:/Program Files(x86)/Radiant Software/CounterPoint/CPSQL.1/TopLevel  and look for the counterpoint.ini file.

This file will show where your CounterPoint instance is connected to.

ServiceUri=https://BUGALOO:51968/ ß  This is where CP is connected to if you are on the main server.

If you cannot connect to counterpoint, it will mean either you do not have access to the shared top level folder, or the counterpoint.ini file is configured incorrectly.

If needed, change the ini file to the correct path and save the file. Then open CounterPoint and see if it opens correctly.
